Hi Joe, I hope this finds you well. I happened to be telling a friend about THS and took him to the website to show him the good work you’re doing…. anyhow, I noticed that I’m still listed on the Greater LA Chapter… I think the information should probably be updated for accuracy. As you know I have not been involved with the chapter. Please feel free to keep the historical fact I was part of starting the chapter if you so choose, but please remove my contact information, or any indication that I’m currently involved with the LA Chapter. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for understanding. Love to the family.

Wondering if you might want to help me. I’m being unjustly prosecuted by the state of Maryland for growing and using medical cannabis. I have Aspergers and suffer from the incurable kidney disease, PKD and other ailments. I have written several papers explaining my story on Word format that I can send you. The public defender is useless, I even had to ask her if she worked for me or the DA. My hope is that my story will get some people in my corner and my biggest hope is to get a decent pro bono lawyer.

    Thank You, Scott

I have WORD docs that tell my story if you want them

    Hi Sweetie

Could you change my name on the Advisory Board to Lejins

I’m pretty sure I met Mr. Grumbine in person a few times. My name is Marco Antonio Berrios. I’m also known as “thewonderdawg” on just about all social media channels. I’m writing to say thanks for fighting the good fight and also to ask for permission to use one or two of your endocannabinoid system images for a book I’m almost done writing “Canna You Believe (these amazing cannabis facts)”. The fact that most mammals are hard wired to receive the cbd miracle is certainly a fact most un canna-educated people would not believe right away.

I will gladly give you photo credits but I don’t have money (yet). Also, I will send you a copy of the work in progress if you like. If you have any questions or need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to reach me at your leisure.

    Appreciatively and Productively Yours,

    Marco Antonio Berrios

    Aka thewonderdawg

I’m caught up in a similar situation as Shona! My charges were also in Kansas! I am now facing three felonies..

    1. Possession of marijuana and hallucinogenic drug with intent to distribute

    2. Possession of paraphernalia

    3. Drug tax stamp

    4. Speeding

I had to get a public defender bc I am completely disabled and only draw 600 a month! The only way I got out of jail was bc they released me ROR!

I am 46 and have NEVER been in any trouble! They actually got me moving to Colorado so I had everything I had ever bought pertaining to cannabis with me;(

I had been traveling from MS to CO for the past year while trying to find a place to stay in Colorado. I finally found someone to rent me a room until I can do better! The trips were causing more clots which meant more surgeries! And I got caught my last trip through Kansas;(

I can’t do this alone! I don’t know anyone in Kansas! Please help me get me story out there! I have a gofundme account but no one is donating;(

Please find it in your heart to help me! I have had 53 procedures in the past 5 years! I will die if I lose my right to cannabis! I’m scared even probation will cause me to have to stop using and I just started the cancer regimen and it’s helping! Please don’t let them kill me! I finally found a cure and I can’t lose it now🙏🏻💖😥

    Sad and scared in Colorado

    Praying for a miracle!

    attention: Webmaster.

    by the light of day

the fifty-fifth minute of the fifth hour of the clock, post meridiem,

this twenty-second day of the month of may,

year two thousand sixteen pursuant to the Gregorian calendar.
Hello, there, this is Wayne Hamilton here on northern California with dear friend, Tom Korby. All here being supporters of The Human Solution, International, it made sense to offer to proofread and edit Tom’s posts. With a message and mission so important, unnecessary distractions like spelling and grammatical errors are best avoided. With that said, ideally, this would be best managed remotely and, therefore, access would be required in order to edit existing posts and to coordinate with Tom about generating continued content. Doing so remotely on a laptop or other mobile device might be much easier than trying to mess with Tom’s phone. Anyway, in all seriousness, assistance would be immensely appreciated. Many thanks and keep up the good work!
    With respect and sincerity,
    One Here.

I am writing this letter as a last effort plea for help. The justice system that exist in Navajo County will ensure the destruction of 3 innocent lives. My

goal is to tell my story and pray that someone reading this will have the ability and resources to help us overcome the injustice that is being handed down to us.

It has been made painfully clear to me that innocent or guilty, the facts that support the truth do not matter.

in April of 2012, myself and my mother moved to north-eastern Arizona with a very specific and intentional goal. We had a dream of improving our lives,

securing our financial future and getting in on the ground floor of what will be Americas next big industrial revolution for both medicine and agriculture.

Although highly controversial, the cannabis industry would provide that security for both of us. I am 41 years old, college educated with no criminal record.

My mother is 64 years old also with no criminal history. In 2010, we purchased 30 acres of property in Concho Arizona. At the time, we were not sure what we

were going to do with our plot of land. Now, the answer seemed so clear. We would develop it into a cannabis cultivation facility and partner with a legal

operating dispensary. Together we embarked on a journey to realize our dream while having an opportunity to help those who benefit from the medicinal properties

    of cannabis.

We moved to Show Low Arizona, obtained the appropriate state licensing and certifications required to cultivate cannabis. We began our education in how to properly

grow and produce a medical grade product. Before this, I couldn’t keep a house plant alive. Now, Im developing a skill I never knew I had.

In October of 2014, I met a young man whom had served our country in Iraq. Russel Johnson, a cannabis card carrying patient was discharged from the military

after surviving an IED attack. He was one of several that I had the honor of helping to improve their quality of life with cannabis. It felt good to have

such a positive affect on people. The rules of Arizona state that if I have cultivation rights and exceed the allowable 2.5 ounces that I can possess, I am

allowed to give away any excess cannabis that I may have. I did this gladly and with great enthusiasm as not only would I be helping people but i could also

get feedback on what works and what does not. At the time, there were no operating dispensaries in our area. Obtaining cannabis medication legally for patients

was a challenge all its own.

On one particular December day in 2014, I get a call from Russel Johnson. He tells me that he is on his way to Tucson for his monthly VA hospital visit.

He also tells me that the 4 hour car ride is difficult for him as sitting to long caused him a great deal of pain. Of course I want to help. that is my

mission for being in Arizona, to help the sick, injured and the dying.

My mother and I take turns staying with my grandmother Audrey Sowers whom lives in Show Low. She came out here with us as leaving her behind was not an option.

Since my grandfather, whom was an Army intelligence officer passed away from agent orange induced cancer, her mental state has slowly deteriorated. She is

now 84 years old with early signs of dementia and diagnosed bi-polar. She has a plethora of other health ailments that I wont get into. Taking care of her has

been my mothers primary focus of her life over the last 15 years. Mom and I would take turns staying with her 5 days on and 5 days at the farm where we were legally

learning how to cultivate medical cannabis.

On this December day, we were switching our post. it was my turn to be at the farm and her turn to be with grandma. I get the call from Russel Johnson and of course,

Im glad to help. I explain to him that my mother will meet him and give him the medication he had requested. 5 grams in all. This was her first time meeting Russel.

They met at a public location in Show Low, the Maverick gas station. Russel got into her car, produced his cannabis patient card and received the medication

I had prepared for him. As he exits her vehicle, he turns around and before closing the door, drops money onto the passenger seat and without saying a word,

disappears into the crowded and busy gas station. Mom is shocked and dumbfounded as she does not understand why Russel did this. By the time her mind can process what just

just took place, Russel Johnson is gone and im sure on his way to his VA appointment in Tucson.

After all of this took place, mom continued on her way to take her 5 day turn with grandma. After traveling about 4 miles from that maverick gas station, She noticed

a car coming behind her at a high rate of speed. The driver was in an obvious hurry and mom being a courteous driver pulls over into a turn out lane to let them pass.

The car pulls in behind her and emergency lights are deployed. It’s an officer in an unmarked car. According to his report, he says he clocked her driving over the

posted speed limit and that was the reason for the stop. Mom was honest in answering his questions and told him where she was heading and yes, she did have cannabis

with her. The officer took what she had, photographed it, then returned it and sent her on her way. She had not broken any laws and was free to go without incident.

Russel Johnson is not heard from again. As I take a personal interest in everyone I have helped, I discovered that his phone had been disconnected and that he had

moved to Tucson so that he could be closer to the VA hospital. 6 Months later, in July of 2014, our house would be raided by law enforcement. They would find 27

un flowered cannabis plants. By law we are allowed 24 plants (12 for each patient card). 3 of those plants were dying and on their way out. As we were still trying to

develop and learn our trade, we kept the three dying plants to see if we could examine and learn the cause of death. Our plant survival rate was very poor at that time.

if we started 50 clones, we would be lucky to end up with 10. Attempting to unlock that mystery was an educational goal we had not yet uncovered. A plant as it is defined

by the state of Arizona is anything with an established root system. When the raid took place, we had just started 91 clones. A clone is a cutting from a healthy plant

that is placed in soil. These clones were cut just 2 days prior to the raid. No roots had developed yet and most of what was there were already starting to die.

The pictures that the officers took during the raid prove everything I am saying here to be true.

It was later discovered that Russel Johnson was taking what I gave to him and selling it to an undercover officer. As a result, the legal system has labeled myself and

my mother to be drug dealing felons, one step above being a pedophile or murderer. Any hopes or dreams of improving our lives are now gone. The prosecuting attorney

has made it her personal mission to imprison my mother and if she can, me as well… Here is the real kicker. There was no evidence presented that a crime took place,

no witnesses to said crime and the officer that made the traffic stop changed his story to say he followed her from the alleged sale. Yet although there is no proof

beyond a reasonable doubt, my mother was found guilty and charged with a felony, Her first offence ever in 64 years of life. On May 11th, I go to face the same

prosecutor in what seems to be an identical fate as my mother. Since she was found guilty on the first offense, this will be her second felony and will require mandatory

prison time….prison time… that thought alone brings a feeling of fear for her that i have never felt before.

The mental affects of this experience have taken their toll on myself, my mother and my grandmother. We are completely shocked that this could happen to us especially

being that we were following the rules and doing it right. All of the legal council that we have sought have all said the same thing. That there is NOTHING that we

can do to defend ourselves. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We are at the mercy of the court. $50,000 seems to be the going price for a high powered attorney that shares the same

opinion. $50,000…. its a number that is unfathomable and certainly unrealistic for us.

I make this plea to anyone who has the resources to please help us. I dont know what to do and am at a loss. We are being bullied and punished in the worst sort of

way with our only crime being trying to improve our life and do it according to the law. 3 innocent lives will be destroyed if this is allowed to continue and go

through. Im reaching out for help. please, I have no where else to turn. I feel my story needs to be heard and the judicial corruption exposed. We are not the monsters that

the prosecuting attorney Sarah Wolfe has made us to be. PLEASE HELP US.

We are a newly formed association in Victorville, CA. High Desert Cannabis Association, HDCA. We have monthly meetings which consist of collective owners, vendors, growers and other related industry businesses. I have always felt very passionate about your cause. If you are interested in coming to a meeting as one of our charities let me know. You would have time to talk and ask for help/donations.

My name is Raymond. My wife and I are medical Cannabis patients who reside in Colorado. On April 29th, 2015, while preparing to move back to Colorado after my job with the Dept of Veteran Affairs was transferred to Denver, my children were taken by the Dept of Children and Family services in Kansas illegally and we have been fighting in court for eight month’s even after the Kansas DCFS closed their investigation with findings that all allegations against us were unsubstantiated. Our case is currently in the Kansas Court of Appeals because the District Court refuses to return our children.
I have recently fired my court appointed attorney and have been forced to represent myself due to the lies and manipulation of every agency and attorney involved in this case. The District Court has subjected my wife and I to random UA’s and refuse to grant visitation unless we stopped using medical Cannibals even though we reside in a State where it is legal. They are threatening to terminate our parental rights if we do not give the UA’s or continue our treatment with Cannibals. Their suggestion is to return to the toxic medications we were formally on which were eliminated through cannabis therapy, which they have no jurisdiction nor professional scope to make such medical decisions for us.
We moved to Colorado specifically for access to care and Kansas is unlawfully holding my children trying to extend its tyrannical jurisdiction and draconian Cannibis policy into another State where the people have voted to provide this medicine as a legitimate medical treatment, and are using little children as political pawns to push their agenda. this must be challenged.
We would like assistance in retaining legal representation to file a Federal lawsuit against multiple parties within the State of Kansas for their atrocious and unconstitutional behavior and legal actions against my family. They clock is ticking and I am preparing to file legal documents in Federal Court myself, which could ruin a very reasonable chance to shut this madness down if I file something inappropriately. Thanks for listening.

I was recently at a family reunion with my mother near Enid, Oklahoma. Her maiden name is O’Brate. She is a first cousin of Cecil O’Brate and his name came up in conversation during a discussion about the Koch brothers. Cecil was adopted by my grandfathers brother. I would like to know how I can help the woman in Garden City whose child was taken by the state of Kansas over medical marijuana. I was born in Syracuse, Kansas and attended medical school at the University of Arkansas. It is a disgrace to the O’Brate family, in my medical opinion, that Cecil would use his money, of which he probably would not have had had he not been adopted by the O’Brate’s, to keep a mother from her child.
